This place is great. Huge portions of tasty food, served super friendly. The papusas are something else. Plenty of flavours going on, plenty of reasons to stop by. Don't worry if your Spanish is no good - you can manage fine. Thoroughly enjoyed myself.

My wife and I come here twice per week. Even though our Spanish language skills are limited the staff is accommodating and responsive. We highly recommend the huevos rancheros, all varieties of the burritos, tacos camarones, pargo fritto/fried porgy, the tamales, and the chile relleno (in my opinion, this is the undisputed champion of chile rellenos). The chicken/hen soup is fantastic as well. Again, the food is amazing and even though there is a language barrier between the staff and my wife and me, this restaurant never disappoints. The food and the service are impeccable. Out of all of the Guatemalan food options on Bergenline Avenue, this is easily the best.

Delicious guacamole, the tortillas were delicious, the pupusas were also very good, the steak was the best, the burrito was fabulous, the chicharrones were everyone's favorite. 10/10 experience would come again. The waiter was so sweet and helpful. The food was so authentic and delicious and reminded us of the food we ate in our hometowns in Guatemala!

I've walked past this restaurant hundreds of times, never thought to step in. The chuleta de cerdo is excellent, pupusas great, soupa de mariscos also excellent. The food is very flavorful, and reasonable price. Went back again, had the chuleta again, it was excellent. Also had the bandeja el Salvador it was really good. This place is very good
